This appeal concerns the custody of a nine year old boy, Jeffrey Scott Spriggs. Following an extensive hearing, the Court of Common Pleas of York County determined that the childs best interests would be served by awarding custody of Jeffrey to his father. The Superior Court, with two judges dissenting, undertook its own review of the record and reversed the trial courts determination, awarding custody to the mother.
